Magnolia place was the site of this New Years event, a cozy venue where every table had a fine view of the evenings entertainment. The lucky award winners began arriving about 6pm with their fellow students, friends, families and other supporters. A fine meal was offered buffet style and soon everyone was enjoying their tasty selections, including lots of chicken nuggets for children!

The show began quickly, starting with the traditional Chinese fashion show, which featured a surprise dance number performed By S.Rencher and a (Dancing Male)!
This was followed by Latino style singing and Victors melodious guitar solos.
This led into a thrilling display of Flamenco dance by Shawna, wearing the most amazing
dress with a long, red, ruffled train attached. Another surprising event followed…
Adam and David pulled forth flashing Sabers and began showing off their best moves one by one, & soon this became a spectacular battle of clashing blades with very fast moves.
Everybody loves a good swordfight and the audience cheered the combatants.

At last it was time for the awards to be presented and one by one the hardworking winners were honored for their efforts this year.

A fine time was had by all, with next year sure to be even better.
Wishing everyone a prosperous and safe Chinese New Year.
